Giant Peach is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our design team as a Web Developer.
We’re looking for a web developer with 3+ years experience to build on our marketing and ecommerce solutions. You’ll be based in our offices in Salisbury, on the Wiltshire/ Hampshire border with a talented internet team; it’s a relaxed, creative and dynamic environment. You will have experience of CMS and a few ecommerce sites under your belt.
You will need to be:
- Able to move between PHP, XHTML, CSS and Javascript coding without blinking
- Able to work with model-view-controller PHP frameworks, preferably CodeIgniter
- Well versed in performance, security and scalability issues
- JS, AJAX, jQuery would be advantages
- An enthusiastic, highly motivated and proactive person that can work within a team, individually and with clients
- An excellent communicator that can explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical clients
- Able to effectively manage their time and workload under pressure to tight deadlines, take ownership of projects
