What I found in my mum’s attic. March 2nd, 2010.

While clearing out their attic, my mum and dad asked me to come over and grab any bits I wanted to keep. What a trip down memory lane!

The magnificent CPC464 – dam that loading sound.

The ultimate in dots and lines. - I was probably the best in the world at this…

lines and dots

Invader from Space

I loved these!

A time before computers

The joy of a Joystick

My first and only scalextric - The Escort XR3i – an 80′s icon!

SNES and Nintendo64

Last but not least, my iMac – the first of many.

Looking at the above reminds me that it’s easy to forget how far technology’s come and the pace of that advancement. I wonder what my children will find in my attic in 30 years…

  1. Roll back the years. CPC 464, wait 7 minutes for the game to load to find out its crashed! Good times!!

Don’t you get rid of those Nintendo’s, they’re mine!!

  2. It’s clear that you were into all things techie from an early age…. glad to see your design capabilities have progressed much further than your spirograph set would have allowed!
